X-Band, 200W, IBUC-G

The new IBUC from Terrasat is a 200W X-Band Block Upconverter (BUC) that now supports multicarrier transmission across the full X-band spectrum. It delivers the highest available output power, making it an ideal solution for high data rate, multicarrier applications such as maritime, broadband, broadcast, and network hubs.

Utilizing Gallium Nitride (GaN) amplifier technology, the unit allows for a smaller package that is designed for antenna mounting. This design eliminates the signal losses associated with long waveguide runs. Furthermore, its greater power efficiency translates into a significant reduction in power consumption. A favorable alternative to older technology TWTAs, the solid-state GaN IBUC provides maximum linear output power with superior reliability.
