There are many configurations and physical interfaces available depending on your needs. As a result, PAC-550 is adaptable enough to be tailored to your specific needs. Tailoring feature what makes the PAC-550 stand apart from generic antenna controller units in the market. i.e: You bought an Earth Station Antenna System but you need all the devices in your shelter. It has a Fully Graphical Front Panel Screen with an Alphanumerical Keypad for easy use. Due to its user friendly interface, it takes a few seconds to start the auto satellite acquisition process from either the front panel or interactive web interface. It requires little to almost no training for its operator to acquire a satellite signal when set-up by an expert.

We live in the IoT (Internet of Things) century and PAC-550 supports interconnectivity using its physical interfaces and support of SNMP to integrate with your already existing management systems. It also supports conventional remote access to its web interface. Meaning you can access to your system over far distances through internet. Did we mention it is also fully compliant with the PALS Vision Network Management System (NMS)?

After a quick satellite signal acquisition, it has the ability to track satellites using the Eutelsat Approved step track algorithm. PAC-550 AI learns satellite movement and can track satellites even without signal using the memory track feature. It uses integrated DVB S/S2 and/or Beacon signal receivers. It supports DVB S/S2 and Beacon Receiver options in one control unit, which cannot be found in any other antenna controller unit on the market. Do you have your own receiver which you want to use? No worries, it has analog input for external receivers and supports acquisition and tracking as well.
