PALS and Telespazio Signed a Contract

PALS has signed a contract with Telespazio last week in İstanbul. Telespazio is a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%), founded in Italy in 1961 and counts more than 3000 employees. Telespazio is one of the world’s biggest suppliers of satellite solutions and services. According to this contract, Telespazio will purchase antenna systems of PALS and also will get PALS integration services for installing turnkey satellite communication systems during the next 10 Years. Telespazio is already an important defence satellite systems provider of Türkiye since 2009 and after providing huge systems to Turkey, Telespazio starts to recruit pioneer Turkish manufacturing and engineering companies. PALS is the only provider so far as a dominator of the Turkish Satellite satellite antenna manufacturing market and one of the most important vendors worldwide for commercial companies, governmental institutions, armies and humanitarian associations since 1995.

According to PALS CEO Ahmet Sucu, this contract is the start of a long-lasting important collaboration with Telespazio. Also, this contract is an important significator of Turkish and Italian Defense and Satellite Communications Industry collaboration, which made huge progress in manufacturing local defence industry products in the last decade. Being a reliable source and a system integrator, PALS becomes one of the important players day by day in the global defence market in the 2020s. Thanks to this contract, PALS’s users will get bigger in numbers and the PALS system solutions will be delivered to different countries/continents which will become new regions for PALS. New projects between PALS and Telespazio will be announced in more detail in close future.
