The PALS POMA-55-D is an antenna system that delivers exceptional performance across both Ku and Ka bands. With a 55 cm diameter and the ability to switch seamlessly between bands without requiring a feed change, it im an ideal solution for high-demand communication scenarios. The system features a robust direct drive mechanism for azimuth (AZ) and elevation (EL), ensuring high reliability and precise operation. Its cap design feed enhances performance by reducing side lobes and optimizing efficiency.  The POMA-55-D operates independently of GPS, utilizing advanced satellite beacon tracking to correct gyro errors. This ensures accurate satellite tracking with only a manual input of local latitude and longitude required before initial satellite pointing. Its rapid deployment capabilities allow for initial satellite pointing in under 80 seconds during GPS/BD cold starts, and less than 60 seconds during hot starts or manual input.  This antenna is widely utilized in various applications, including military platforms to enhance combat mobility and effectiveness. Additionally, it supports emergency command and communication needs for public safety agencies, including police, fire services, traffic control, and civil defence.

• The product supports operation at either Ku or Ka, but can also achieve Ku&Ka dual-band operation simultaneously according to the user’s needs without changing the feed;
