Overview

Satcom On-the-Move (SOTM) is commonly the only option to provide broadband communications that are continuous, dependable, and easily installed.

Real-time Ka-band and Ku-band satellite communications are accomplished by the PALS PLPA antenna series, a low-profile, lightweight, ruggedized two-way antenna system, primarily for video, voice, and data. lts robust design and compact size enable installation on a variety of vehicles.

Minimal size, weight, and power consumption allow installation on small vehicles or marine vessels. The antenna's light weight ensures easy and safe mounting for quick and easy operation by non-technical personnel.

The antenna uses high-efficiency planar-array antenna to achieve an ultra low-profile design. Even when traveling at high speeds and through difficult terrain, the dual-axis stabilized tracking system ensures precise acquisition and locking onto the geosynchronous satellites. The PALS PLPA series antenna makes it possible to reliably and continuously access broadband lnternet, e-mail, VolP, VPN, video conferences, files, and other data communications despite quick maneuvering.
