The PALS PTA-400 redefines mobility for large-aperture satellite communications. This fully transportable, 4.0m antenna system is engineered for rapid deployment in the most demanding scenarios. Its innovative design integrates the antenna and all RF equipment onto a single trailer, where it automatically folds into a compact, road-ready unit without requiring any disassembly—significantly reducing setup and teardown times.
At its core, the PTA-400 is a high-performance dual-optic antenna system featuring a precision 4.0m parabolic main reflector and sub-reflector. This design, combined with a quick-install feed-arm and a customizable feed-horn, delivers exceptional signal quality and gain. Operators can specify the feed-horn for operation in Ku, Ka, X, or C-band, making it incredibly versatile for various global requirements.
For ultimate control and reliability, the PTA-400 is fully compatible with the rugged PALS PAC-550 military-grade antenna controller. The integrated system includes GPS, an advanced position detection system, and a high-performance satellite beacon receiver, ensuring fast, accurate pointing and unwavering connectivity for military, humanitarian, and broadcast applications.
